Thanks to every person who answered this post. I managed to get an appointment in mumbai for Aug 2nd. This will give enough time to send necessary document from my end and also give enough breathing to file the application.

Being a big company they may have their own IT dept. If we can find out if they either outsource their IT dept or hire H1-bs than he may not have much to argue..my 2cents.

Who told you that you will get EAD/AP in three months. Nothing will prevent USCIS to develop backlogs in EAD/AP too now. "Oh there were so many filed in June/July so that we can't process them that fast anymore...":cool:
Atleast we can get Interim EAD after 90 days, can't we?

You still didn't explain how "immigrant status verification is related to homeland security" logically.

Sure, why not. An immigrant who is not in valid status is one who is legally not allowed to be in the country. Therefore he is a security threat. If somebody who should not be allowed in your house were in your house, you would consider him to be a security threat, wouldn't you? Am I missing something here?

Since lot of people go to Costco for passport photos and the specs are similar I'm using them. Photos look good the place holder for the photos shows the specifications i.e. face size and you can place the photo next to it and verify.

I got the scanned copy of the RFE of my wife's case from my attorney this morning, here are the details - "Need secondary evidence to demonstrate the claimed relationship..."

I think calling your university presidents and asking them to show their support for these bills would also be a very good idea.
This bill will encourage pursuit of higher education in US by foreign students in a significant way.
I think this is a good idea. All US graduates should Email or fax there University Presidents. As we know congress does listen to the education industry. All IV members graduated from US universities should contact there respective university presidents.

You are soliciting business from IV site. You don't have a disclaimer or no shame in doing that. You filled your charge country as UK and pretend to be GC aspirant. You can advertise your thing by paying IV, not by these cheap method of interfering here. Applied for EAD and AP together (e-file at TSC center) in the last week of Nov 2010 and got the EAD card yesterday in mail. The validity period is for 2 yrs. The online status for EAD updated accordingly. However there is no status update for AP.
How many days before expiry can one apply for
1. EAD extension.
2. AP extension.
3. Since EAD extension is possible only because of 485 pending, is there a chance of risk, if employer withdraws 485 for some reason.
